The PRIZMA Medical Center in its work uses high quality products, fillers for the face
Fillers, which are used in contouring lips, cheekbones, nose and other facial areas, are independently tested and certified before being delivered to the world market.
Advantages of the method:
- facial contour plastic without surgery and anaesthesia;
- instant results;
- no long rehabilitation period.
What problems does contour plastic solve?
Injections of hyaluronic acid-based filler are effective for:
- With the lowest density, they are used to moisturize and rejuvenate the skin;
- More dense – to remove creases, wrinkles, lip augmentation;
- Medium-density gels are used to correct the cheekbones, nose, and facial contours;
- The most dense ones are used to model contours.
Action of fillers
Hyaluronic acid-based fillers are gels of varying density, consistency, so that we can use different fillers for different purpose. By injecting into a particular area, the main task of the filler is to restore the lost volume. In addition, hyaluronic acid nourishes the surrounding tissues of the gel even after the drug has completely dissolved. Our skin has its own hyaluronic acid, which is responsible for water balance and cell regeneration. With age, the amount of this component decrease – for this reason the skin becomes dry, the volume of facial tissues decrease, and wrinkles are formed.
Injections of fillers for the lips and other facial areas compensate for the lack of natural hyaluronic acid that occurs with age. The injections of fillers under the skin allow you to correct age-related changes without pain and harm to your health.
Injection of hyaluronic acid is effective in cases of:
- With the lowest density, they are used to moisturize and rejuvenate the skin;
- More dense – to remove creases, wrinkles, lip augmentation;
- Medium-density gels are used to correct the cheekbones, nose, and facial contours;
- The most dense ones are used to model contours.
Also, preparations differ in the rate of biodegradation – the denser the gel, the longer its effect.
How is the contouring procedure performed?
Facial contouring is performed as an outpatient procedure. The effect, due to fillers for lips, cheekbones, face, is achieved in a single procedure. At the consultation, the cosmetic dermatologist conducts a medical patient’s survey, explains the scope of work, and describes the course of the procedure.
The first step is skin cleansing and application of anesthetic cream. Then the dermatologist proceeds directly to the introduction of injection according to the treatment plan. The contouring procedure may take from 15 to 40 minutes depending on the treated area.
The results are noticeable almost immediately, but a sustainable effect can be assessed after 5-7 days. Changes after the introduction of fillers will be visible from 4 to 18 months, then the gel is eliminated from the body and the procedure can be repeated.
After the procedure of facial contouring there may be swelling and redness of the skin in the injection site, which disappears within 1-2 days. As for the rehabilitation period, there is no such period. You need to limit physical activity, the use of cosmetics, as well as visits to the swimming pool, solarium and bath-house. Your cosmetic dermatologist will tell you more about the rules of care after injections at a face-to-face consultation. We also recommend you to find out more about the procedure
