Getting rid of skin pigmentation at the Prizma Medical Center

Pigment spots are not dangerous, but if you do not resort to cosmetological measures, the skin’s condition from sun will worsen. To eliminate hyperpigmentation, we propose the following procedures:

Phototherapy on the M22 platform

Phototherapy is one of the most effective methods for the pigmentary spots treatment.We work with the Lumenis M22. The intense pulsed homogenous beam is transformed into heat, thereby acting selectively on the spot. As a result, the pigment is destroyed, without affecting other tissues.

Contraindications for the procedure are:

  • staying in the sun or in the solarium 3-4 weeks before the procedure;
  • pregnancy and breastfeeding;
  • viral diseases in the active phase;
  • HIV, AIDS (immunosuppressive diseases);
  • taking medications that enhance photosensitivity (isotretinoin, tetracycline, Tutsan);
  • blood coagulation disorders or use of anticoagulants;
  • keloid scars;
  • oncological diseases.

Recommended course: 4-6 procedures.

New face of a woman after treatment. Mesotherapy

Another effective method is mesotherapy. Injections may contain vitamin C, retinol, amino acid complexes, linoleic and glycolic acids, multivitamins, etc. Mesotherapy is aimed at spots lighting, as well as blocking excessive production of melanin (pigment).An excellent result is a combination of mesotherapy and peeling. The best seasons for the procedure are autumn or winter, when the sun is not so active.

Recommended course: 6-8 procedures with an interval for 1 week.

The peeling contains in its compositiongluconolactone, as well as glycolic, phytic and citric acids. After the course of procedures, the spots become lighter, and some of them disappear completely, the skin gets a fresh look.

Recommended course: 4-6 procedures (once every two weeks).

Prevention of the appearance of pigment blemishes

After treatment, you must follow the simple rules:

  1. When going outdoors in sunny weather, always use a UV-protected cream.
  2. Do not attend the solarium and do not sunbathe under the sun.
  3. Use hats, glasses, covering sensitive skin to the sun.
