Based on anatomic criteria wrinklescan be divided into:

• 

  Epidermal (superficial) wrinkles – appear in the form of thin lines, located on the upper layer of the skin; the most common cause of the problem is the lack of moisture
• 

  Medium-deep wrinkles – reach the dermis (middle layers of the skin),
  resulting from deepening of the surface wrinkles
• 

  Deep wrinkles – pronounced lines,
  forming in the deep layers of the skin

Based on the origin the wrinkles can be:

• 

  Mimetic wrinkles – that are formed in those areas
  that are responsible for the emotions
  ( the eyes area, area around the lips, forehead)
• 

  Gravitation wrinkles – as the result of skin ptosis (sagging);
  the corners of the mouth and eyes are turned down
  , noticeable nasolabial folds appear)
• 

  Aging wrinkles – which appear on
  the entire skin due to chronological aging
