The doctors of aesthetic dentistry clinic PRIZMA in Kiev do not start treatment  without high-quality detailed diagnostics. It is only diagnostic examination that a doctor can make final diagnosis, find the arcane issues of the bone tissue of maxillo-facial area, and therefore, make a detailed plan of  dental therapy. For this purpose our clinic provides:

• Computer-aided tomography (CT), visualizing all the maxillo-facial area in a 3D image.  Having chosen the correct setup we thoroughly examine upper and lower jaw, maxillotemporal joints, maxillary sinuses. The examination makes it possible to precisely calculate the bone tissue thickness for implantation, the remoteness of the adjacent canals, where the nerves lay, assess the state of each tooth individually. For dentistry, computer-aided tomography  is the guarantee of exact diagnostics.
• Orthopantomogram is made to almost all the patients for oral cavity condition review. By means of this image it is possible to identify caries, evaluate the condition of filling and root canals.
• Dental (spot-film) X-ray image is made to identify hidden  caries or control of root canal treatment in individual cases.
• Teleroentgenogram (TRG) is an examination necessary for an orthodontologist. TRG calculation in lateral projection enables an orthodontologist to make correct diagnosis, tdetermine the type of growth, optimal location and inclination angle of the teeth, inclination of occlusive plane (tooth joint plane) and the spatial location of the lower jaw in relation to the upper one. Only after precise diagnostics it is possible to achieve the set goals of the treatment of the dental patient.
