Hair mesotherapy: indications for the treatment

Scalp mesotherapy is indicated for the following conditions:

• hair loss (in both women and men);

The essence of the procedure

Mesotherapy for hair consists of injecting a mesococktail into the scalp. The injections are enriched with various vitamins (A, C, E, D, B vitamins, etc.) and microelements (copper, calcium, zinc, silicon) to enhance the growth of hair follicles. Preparation

Before proceeding with the treatment, you should check the functioning of your thyroid gland, which can be the cause of hair loss. It is also worth minimizing the reaction to stressful situations, as nervous tension can also become a trigger for alopecia.

Features of the hair mesotherapy procedure

Before injections are given, the cosmetic dermatologist can perform an antiseptic treatment on the area to be injected. The doctor then proceeds directly to the procedure, making multiple injections into the scalp. During mesotherapy, discomfort may be felt, which passes off quickly. Duration of the procedure: 25-30 minutes.

Rehabilitation period

You can return to your usual activities immediately after the procedure. However, there are a number of limitations:

• do not wash your hair for 24 hours ;
• do not visit a swimming pool, sauna or solarium for 2 weeks;
• if possible, protect your head from the sun.

Number of procedures

For maximum effectiveness, a course of 5-10 procedures should be performed once every 7-14 days. The cosmetic dermatologist determines the calendar of visits and the number of procedures at the consultation.
